Jason and Marsha Engagement

Jason, Marsha and I met in uptown Charlotte for their engagement photo session and I was so glad to finally meet them in person!

I swear by having engagement sessions before a wedding. It does so much to help put the bride and groom at ease for their wedding day. They know what to expect from me and how I work and they also know they will have nothing to worry about when it comes to their photographer on the day of the wedding!  We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and shooting a lot of great images.  I can not wait for their upcoming wedding!

1st Birthday

You might recognize this cutie from previous sessions.  Avery just turned one and we had a few photos to celebrate.
She LOVED the fountains at The Green in uptown Charlotte, and chased the timed spouts all morning.

Avery seems to get more beautiful every time I see her, Happy Birthday my little niece!

Lilley Maternity

Lisa and Matt are enjoying their last few nights of sleep as they prepare for the birth of their first child.  We met at Freedom Park which is a favorite picture spot for many families and couples and captured a few memories of mommy pregnant with her first child.  Proud daddy even put up with having a few photos taken.:)

Caeser

Had a good studio session today with a model I have not worked with before.  This is Caeser.  Army Reservist/Airborne, medic and an all around good guy.
My goal with this shoot was to get an athletic/fitness type look.  I would say mission accomplished.
I think we shot some awesome stuff  and here are a few of my favs. I am still editing so more to come…

Robert & Kristen

I loved photographing the wedding of Robert and Kristen who were married July 2nd 2010 at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.   The gardens and the willing personalities of the bride and groom and the wedding party made for some amazing photographs. Here are a few from the evening.

Paige – Bridal 4-23-2010

This amazing bridal photo session was with Paige Dixon.  Her mother and her grandmother accompanied her to the Van Landingham Estate. I have not been able to publish these images just in case the groom were to come to the site but now that they have been married here are a few favorites.:)

Hunter – Dixon Wedding

Jared and Paige were married June 5th at the First Presbyterian Church  in Belmont with their reception held at the Gaston Country Club
The day went smoothly and everyone had a wonderful time. Even those who could not make the event were present via the web using a webcam. Such a perfect idea!

A surprise visit between sets from the live band was Power 96′s   Cubby Squires!  He actually performed his Beyonce’s Single Ladies dance for everyone in his black leotard. It was hilarious and it made for a great time.
It was an amazing event to honor Paige and Jared coming together in marriage and I wish them nothing but the best.
Here are a few images from the day.

Busy Busy Busy

I have simply been so busy I can not see straight. I have so many pictures to post but some I just can not, until the brides get married. I would get into some serious trouble if a husband saw his bride in her wedding dress prior to the wedding.:)

Even though I was exhausted today I was able to drive downtown and get a few shots. Just wanted to get something up to let everyone know I am alive and doing great. I hope you are all enjoying spring as well and I promise to get more up here soon!:)

STS-132

May 14th 2010, final launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis. The movie includes video from Vic Wan and images from myself.

John and Theresa – Queensbury, NY

What a way to bring in Spring than with a wonderful wedding in NY and it definitely felt like spring.  John and Theresa were married at the Hiland Park Country Club on March 20th, 2010 and the event was beautiful.
John surprised Theresa with a tropical honeymoon on their wedding day coupled with a pre-ceremony letter to his bride that she couldn’t even finish reading due to tears. (Start taking notes future husbands)

Hair and make-up were done at The Salon Spa at Union Square in Glens Falls, and guests lodging was provided by the Country Inn and Suites near Lake George.
